Lightweight masonry range
Published lightweight hollow-block densities range from 750 to 925 kg/m3. Published lightweight solid-block classes include 1,100 and 1,400 kg/m3. Thermal blocks are also listed in lightweight solid and hollow configurations with polystyrene insulation inserts.
Lightweight is a density description, not a complete specification. Required strength, fire resistance, acoustics, thermal design, fixings, wall height and finishes still need project-specific review. EMCON's pumice products should not be assumed to be autoclaved aerated concrete unless an approved submittal explicitly says so.

Compare the exact density class, dimensions, compressive strength and declared performance of the proposed unit. Do not compare products using only the words lightweight block, because different materials and manufacturing methods can have different properties.
